These are 50/50 cotton/polyester sweatshirts that are made in the USA. They have a narrower shoulder than most brands that you would purchase at Walmart, Target, or Sears, which fit a woman so much better.
If you are going to use these sweatshirts to make a quilted jacket be sure to buy a sweatshirt that is at least one size larger than normal. Then, after it is washed try it on before you begin. Reach under the arms and grab the side seams, you must be able to pinch at least an inch of excess fabric on both sides to ensure the jacket will fit when finished. Trust me, I have made dozens of sweatshirt jackets.
