LOOK WHAT ELSE IS NEW...TRANQUALITY For that fabric that you just can't cut!!!

Tranquality is for those special fabrics that you just can't cut!
You may have seen a similar version by Colleen in Asian Fabric
magazine called the Zen Quilt.  For the Tranquility version you use
1 1/2 to 2 yards of fabric for the center piece.  It's a great class to
learn about using bias edges successfully!
A one-day class.

Please note:  for all the sweatshirt jacket patterns I recommend cotton/poly sweatshirts that are purchased in the Men's Department as they have added sleeve length and width to accommodate the extra seams.  Women's sweatshirts never seem to fit properly after reassembly and the sleeves always end up too short.  For the Kid's jacket, I purchase the sweatshirt in the Boy's Department.

I do not recommend the pigma died 100% cotton sweatshirts, they just never seem to work out.

Carpenter's Square - Four designs and sizes to choose from;  The Apprentice is the easiest with only two rails and optional borders; the Journeyman is the most difficult as it has three rails and is a rectangle rather than a square; the Master adds a three rail border to enhance the basic design; and more like the traditional design the Carpenter Design is like the Master version but without the extra borders..  A one-day (6 hour) class will get you started, a two-day class or retreat will allow enough time for some to begin the assembly process.
