Name that Pattern!!
|
Ever wonder where Colleen gets the names for her quilts?
Just who is Sporty?
And why does the carpenter have an apprentice?
|
|
Apprentice Carpenter Square - An apprentice is a rooky carpenter, this pattern
was named Apprentice because it is the easiest Carpenter's Square design. For a
bit more challenge check out Colleen's Journeyman and Master Carpenter
patterns. |
|
Playing with Jax - Named after Colleen's grandson, Jaxon. The three
dimension technique gives the effect of a child's jacks game. Scraps from the
Jax are used to make the ball and binding. |
|
Kelsey's Wholecloth - Named for Colleen's niece Kelsey. Colleen chose Kelsey
because she is a beginning sewer and Colleen felt that even a beginner could
successfully make this jacket. |
|
April's Trip Around the World - Named after Colleen's daughter April because
of her love of traveling. Fusible grid is used to make this design. |
|
Elaine's Bargello Jacket - Named after Colleen's mother, Elaine, who is always
an inspiration and the catalyst for Colleen's sweatshirt jacket designs. |
|
Sporty and Friends - is named after Sporty, Colleen's sisters' silly and playful
Golden Retriever who is always looking for a friend to play with. |
|
If Al-Can, You Can - A three dimensional quilt that was designed by Colleen
while traveling up the Alaska-Canadian Highway during the summer of 2004. |
